The Island Innovation Trust was established to harness the very best education practice within two large secondary schools and a large A Level sixth-form centre of almost 500 students, to create a culture of continual improvement with increasingly successful outcomes for young people across the Island.
The Governing Body of Carisbrooke College and Medina College is now seeking to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of RE. Ideally the successful candidate will also be able to teach other Humanities based subjects. We are looking for an energetic, high quality NQT or more experienced teacher, with commitment and a clear vision that will lead to continued and sustained improvement for our students.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to teach Key Stage 3 and GCSE
- Be a consistently good or outstanding classroom practitioner
- Be a good team player and willing to work collaboratively
- Be committed to raising standards
- Be positive, creative and determined
This post is primarily based at Carisbrooke College, however the Federation comprises Carisbrooke College, Medina College and our joint VI Form Campus and candidates should, therefore, be prepared to work across the three sites as necessary.
