The Isle of Wight Education Federation has been established to harness the very best education practice within two large secondary schools and a large A Level sixth-form centre of almost 500 students, to create a culture of continual improvement with increasingly successful outcomes for young people across the Island.
Although this post is primarily based at Medina College, the Federation comprises Carisbrooke College, Medina College and The Island VI Form and candidates should, therefore, be prepared to work across the three sites as necessary. Appropriate vehicle business insurance will therefore be required.
The Governing Board of the Isle of Wight Education is seeking to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of Technology. The ability to teach Food Technology would be advantageous. We are looking for an energetic, high quality NQT or a more experienced teacher, with commitment and a clear vision that will lead to continued and sustained improvement for our students.
